Child abuse has become very prevalent, but we can combat it together.

Coffee County Circuit Court Judge Vanessa Jackson talks about the effects of child abuse on individuals and society. She has seen the impacts of child abuse in private practice and serving as a judge. She was in private practice for 30 years and became judge in 2009. The trauma the child experiences, being sexually, physically or emotionally abused, may become a lifetime problem. Child abuse may become an ongoing cycle if it’s not broken, according to Jackson.

We can combat child abuse together. To end child abuse, we need to learn the red flags of child abuse. Know red flags and prevent child abuse.
